Senior Consultant and Executive Coach

Christina Sherrod is a Senior Consultant and Executive Coach for Highland Performance Solutions. With over 15 years of experience, she brings a deep understanding of leadership progression and the critical success factors for executives. Christina is passionate about supporting leaders in reaching their personal level of peak performance; coaching clients describe her as authentic and a true champion of their success, yet candid and direct.   

Her primary areas of expertise include accelerating leader effectiveness through executive coaching, executive assessment for selection and development, and senior leader succession planning. Additionally, Christina is a skilled facilitator, leading executive strategy sessions, team dynamics workshops and high potential leadership development programs.  

Christina has supported clients across various industries, including restaurant brands and holding companies, large retailers, finance and banking, airlines, semi-conductor, pharmaceutical manufacturing and distribution, and healthcare. In addition to working with organizations in the Fortune 500, Christina has supported private equity firms, and their portfolio companies, to achieve rapid growth.  Her industry experience has been broad and has includes both global and domestic, private and public entities.  

Christina earned a PhD in Clinical Psychology from Texas A&M University in College Station, TX, where she specialized in psychological assessment and behavior change. Her personal work experiences have been vast and have included leading a team of researchers for an industry leading talent assessment firm, growing a leadership solutions division within an HR technology organization and running her own leadership solutions firm. She is a certified Gallup Strengths Coach and holds certifications in numerous leadership assessment tools.  Christina serves as President of the Board for Bridle Up Hope North Texas, an equine assisted learning program based on the book The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, designed to foster mental health, self-efficacy and life management skills in girls and women. 

Currently residing in Florida with her husband, teenage daughter and their two Bernedoodles, Christina enjoys spending her free time near the ocean with a great book and spending time with her family and friends.  She thrives on continually learning and expanding her thinking.
