Les Martel is a Senior Consultant and Executive Coach for Highland Performance. He is known for his keen business focus with over 20 years of diverse experience across industries and the entire range of leadership, organizational development, and talent management initiatives. He works exclusively with senior leaders and high-potential talent ready to accelerate their leadership skills, drive peak performance and to prepare for broader, more complex roles.  

Les has worked as a senior level consultant at world class consulting firms implementing large-scale talent assessment, development and succession management initiatives while delivering executive coaching and leadership development services around the globe. Prior to his consulting work, he led Global People & Organization Development for the Instinet Corporation, a global electronic securities broker based in New York City. In that role, he successfully partnered with senior leaders to drive key strategic and human capital challenges. He created and implemented the first executive coaching program while serving as the “go to” executive coach for senior management. 

As a business leader and expert consultant, he has deep expertise in business focused executive coaching, senior leader/high potential assessment, selection & development, executive onboarding, rapid integration and team chartering, team performance acceleration, succession management & role replacement.
